The Decisive (Mon)Day

So it's only 3 weeks left in comla, half of the playoff spot already taken, so the competition should be less exciting right?... WRONG
I believe tomorrow will be one of the decisive day in this season to decide who win or lose.

So up to sunday night here are the standings:
1. Seniors vs Archaeon: Seniors up by only 66 fpts, however archaeon is up by two games.
2. Gennosuke vs Curse: Curse up by only 55.5 fpts, but Gennosuke up by 1 game
3. ConCarne vs SuperDuck: Concarne up by only 20 fpts, and up by 1 game
4. iWinner vs Shazaam: iWinner up by only 0.5 fpts, Shazaam up by 1 game
5. Matoa vs Gepeng: Matoa up by only 1 fpts, game tied.

Good luck trying to concentrate on your work tomorrow fellas.

All Star Is Not Half Season

Many people seem to believe that all-star break means half the season already done, Guess again... by game count we are actually 2/3 of the season already. So if you still games behind, time to step on the pedal.

Updated status for ALMOC league, it has been quite the intense race for the top three. The excitement doesn't stop there, it has been also quite intense on for the bottom three.

So top three are adawn, stats masta and ifoe in average, very similar with the total standings

as for bottom three are bitch slappers, wasabi and archaroto
If bellepue can finish his game, he should be fine, as he was rank 6th in average. If he cannot, then sadly he may replace one of the bottom there.

Here are the average score as per all star break:

2 R o t o D a w n  75
1 Stats Masta  78
3 iFoe  73
6 Havana  57
4 GeNNoSuKe  68
5 Gunners  63
8 Matoaroto  55
9 R o t o D u c k  48.5
11 WASABI TO 5 NOW  44.5
9 ArchaRoto  48
6 Bellepue  57
12 Bitch Slappers  35

As trade deadline getting closer in ALMOC, which team will improve their rank and finish strong?

Knicks Landry Fields Is Modell’s Funniest, Worst Salesman

The New York Knicks’ Landry Fields has proven himself to be among the top rookies the NBA has to offer (he was picked to represent the Rookie Team at the T-Mobile Rookie Challenge on All-Star Weekend), and while his play has gained the attention of league officials, plenty of Knicks fans remain clueless when it comes to the identity of their team’s young starting guard.
Seems like a #6 Landry Fields Knicks jersey is quite the tough sell in the Big Apple these days.  At least he was able to maintain a sense of humor, despite the constant rejection from these New York City shoppers.

The 8th Spot

In Comla, Adawn and Gennosuke earned stars thus making them the first two teams who clinched playoff spots. With the rank 3rd and 7th all have identical winning record 9-7, total fantasy points become a big deciding factor.

The true drama is the battle for the 8th spot. ConCarne, Superduck and Senior's Team all share the same W-L record with 7-9.

Here are the possible scenarios that might happen based on my assumption:
1. Currently rank 3rd-7th win at least 1 games out of remaining 4 games = automatically playoff. Even if any of these teams dont win any game at all, they could still get into playoff if they have a high fantasy points.

2. Concarne need to win one extra game compare to Superduck and Seniors, since he has a low fantasy points.

3. Superduck and Seniors can still get a playoff if they have the same winning out of those 4 games compare to each other. If that happen, then it will be decided by fantasy points.

Note: Week 18 is a match up between Superduck and Concarne, whoever win those series, will give their team more chances for playoff spot.

A New Reason to Jailbreak

I could never understand why people choose not to jailbreak
Maybe this video can help to change your mind

Three Way Trade

Congrats to the new owner of Bellepue, who not only did many blockbuster trades just within a few days of his early owner days, but he also managed to create the first three way trade.
Congratulation to Bellepue for amazing move.

恭喜发财

Sorry I haven't been blogging lately. Actually this is the longest time I didn't blog since I started. A lot of stuff have been happening in real life that I simply didn't have the time and thoughts to blog.
Two weeks ago I had what I called a "mid-life crisis" in fantasy for about a week. During that week I rarely check fantasy news and didn't follow much games. I suspected part of it was because of my 5 losing streak and a bad loss I had with Curse Breaker in weekly Comla match. The crisis also explained why I haven't been blogging lately.

Long Version: It was down to last game. I had my 3 spurs Duncan, Manu and Parker. Curse Breaker had J.R. Smith. Should be easy right? Except J.R. Blew up in the 2nd half and even so in 4th Q. Popovich decided to bench all my 3 Spurs player even Spurs was only up by 10 with 2 minutes to go. In those 2 minutes, Smith managed to get 2 steals + 2 assist. I was still managed to hang on the lead with only 0.5 fpoints. It was then the last basket of the game was a dunk by ... who else? but J.R.Smith himself, which made Curse up by 2.5 fpoints. The closest winning ever in this season.
Short Version: Bad Luck!

So let me summarized what had happened in both leagues since my last blog...
a. Adawn is still the leader in both leagues

b. Gepeng finally broke his 2-1 Win/Loss pattern after 14 weeks

c. iWinner won the the recent hot waiver player DeMarcus Cousins with $56. Which famously quoted from ConCarne
"Si pupu got se pupu"

d. iFoe had been the most active in trades. The last 5 players traded were all done by iFoe. Trading 5 players all for the sake of 3 pointers.
First it was Aldridge for Granger
then Green for Casspi
then Calderon for Richardson
and the latest Harris + J.R. Smith for Carter + Morrow
All those trades are sure going to bump iFoe 3PM except for the Green for Casspi trade, where Casspi were immediately drop just 1 day after traded completed, even though iFoe wasted his waiver to pick up Green just 1 day before the trade.

e. Last but the biggest news of all. ConCarne finally have the approval from the old owner to take over Bellepue team in almoc. We like to wish Kendean farewell from Almoc League, and we like to welcome Edu as the new owner of Bellepue. Within the first day, he has added 4 players and 2 more players in the 2nd day. With so many other managers keen to trade with the new owner of Bellepue. We will see how the new owner handle the new league, the FA and the trade offer. Welcome to ALMOC Kodoe!

PS: And happy chinese new year to you all. May the bunny year bring you better position in fantasy ranking. Gong Xi Fa Chai 恭喜发财

Who do you think have the best team this year?
